Video Games
I also think that there should just be one video game company, and everyone should vote on which one it is. I'm not saying that I love Sony SOOO MUCH that I should be the president, but I just think that only one should be it, and we should vote on it. Example? Ok. Here's one. Let's say it's Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. In the end of the year vote that they always have, it would ask who you would pick to be the only one making video games. They would tally up the votes, and pick one. Then that one company would be the only one that would make video game systems. All the other video game making companies would stay. If that company does really bad, he gets impeached, we vote again, and it all good.

BTW: I don't like Sony. Nintendo's my favorite.
So what if Microsoft wins one year. What would Nintendo do all year? They would not be able to sell anything all year, so they would go out of business. Eventually you would be left with a monopoly, and we all know, monopolies are not good!
Nintendo would sell video games for the system until the Microsoft term is up. AND, if the government is ok with it, than we shouldn't mess with it.
No, it would never work. Because if the winner changes every year, everyone in the world would have to go out and buy a new game system every year.
Whats wrong with the way it is now? Everyone has a choice! Its all good!

Well, I just want to say one thing.
I must agree, a monopoly is bad for companies. However, some people, i.e. rct2guy, think there should be only one company of for different things. Those companies would, perhaps, be run by the government. Each way has pros and cons. I personally think that our country should try to run the companies in the near future when there is not so much controversy with the war and junk.
But I still must say, what we have now is pretty sweet. People can choose what they want. Maybe someone does not like the Wii so they get a PS3 or Xbox (or vis versa).
In the end... eh... I'll stick with the Wii!
